In a recent Head-to-Head Maryland Passer Challenge, where fans voted for the Top 10 MaxPreps Passers, Carter emerged as the clear winner, receiving over 300 votes and surpassing the competition. His victory in this challenge solidifies his position as one of the top quarterbacks in the state, succeeding previous winners like Winston Watkins from Mount Saint Joseph.
