URA EVALUATION
Caleb Hill is a highly polished dual-threat quarterback with a strong combination of arm talent, processing speed, and competitive makeup. He shows advanced command of the position for his age, consistently demonstrating quick decision-making, poise in the pocket, and the ability to create explosive plays both on schedule and off script.
Hill’s arm strength is above average to strong, allowing him to drive the football to all areas of the field. He shows good velocity on intermediate throws and enough touch to layer the ball over defenders. Accuracy is a strength, particularly on rhythm throws, RPO concepts, and when working the middle of the field. He remains accurate while throwing on the move and displays comfort delivering off-platform from multiple arm angles.
From a mental standpoint, Hill processes quickly and plays with a calm, controlled demeanor. He identifies coverage rotations well pre- and post-snap and does not panic under pressure. His pocket presence continues to trend upward, showing an ability to climb, reset, and keep his eyes downfield while avoiding unnecessary negative plays.
As a runner, Hill is a legitimate dual-threat. He accelerates quickly, shows good vision in space, and can be used effectively on zone-read, QB power, and scramble situations. While not a pure speed runner, he is decisive and physical enough to finish runs and consistently move the chains.
Hill’s leadership traits stand out. A son of a football coach, he displays strong football IQ, commands the huddle naturally, and earns teammates’ trust. His championship experience, including leading an undefeated state title run, is evident in his situational awareness and composure in high-leverage moments.
Physically, Hill has room to continue developing his frame and strength, which should further enhance durability and arm consistency at the next level. With continued refinement of footwork and added physical development, he projects as a high-ceiling quarterback capable of thriving in multiple offensive systems.
