Alexavier “Mayhem” McDonald is an explosive two-sport athlete out of Alexander High School in Douglasville, Georgia, by way of Florida. Known for his relentless motor and field awareness, Alexavier earned 5A Region Honorable Mention honors on defense last season. A nickname like “Mayhem” wasn’t given—it was earned. Whether crashing through blockers or closing gaps in pursuit, he brings controlled chaos to every snap.
Standing out for more than just athleticism, Alexavier maintains a 3.6 GPA while taking AP and Honors courses, showing the same discipline in the classroom that he brings to the field. A member of Beta Club and FBLA, he’s focused on his long-term goal of studying Cybersecurity while continuing to dominate on the gridiron.
Off the field, he’s a competitor through and through—running track, playing basketball, and sharpening his instincts through gaming. Quiet but confident, Alexavier lets his play do the talking. At 6’4”, 210 pounds as a sophomore, he already possesses the build of an FBS outside linebacker or defensive end, garnering several FBS offers. His length, pursuit speed, and effort level jump off the tape. He plays with controlled aggression and finishes plays with physicality.
McDonald shows strong instincts for reading blocks and finding the football. His first step is disruptive off the edge, closing quickly on quarterbacks and ball carriers.
