Ontario Washington Jr. is a Class of 2026 student-athlete from North Stafford High School in Stafford, VA. Originally born in Georgia and raised in Florida, Washington has developed into a versatile football player known for his smart, fast, and physical style of play. His greatest strength is his high football IQ, which allows him to maximize his speed and strength to gain an edge over opponents.

 

A four-year varsity starter in football and an All-State track athlete, Washington has excelled athletically while also maintaining a remarkable 4.38 GPA throughout high school. His discipline, leadership, and ability to balance academics and athletics showcase his drive to succeed at the next level. Washington’s ultimate goal is to leverage his athletic ability to compete at a high level in college football while also earning a world-class education.

At 5’11”, 175 pounds, Ontario Washington Jr. profiles as a versatile athlete/defensive back with the ability to contribute on both sides of the ball. A four-year varsity starter at 6A North Stafford High School, Washington plays with a combination of football IQ, speed, and physicality that allows him to excel in multiple roles. His instincts and awareness stand out on film, enabling him to quickly read plays and utilize his speed and strength to create mismatches and limit big plays.

 

Washington is also a proven track athlete, earning All-State recognition, which translates directly to his acceleration, top-end speed, and ability to close on the ball in coverage or pursuit. He has the toughness to play press-man coverage, the range to line up in the secondary, and the athleticism to step into an offensive role if needed.

 

Off the field, Washington maintains a 4.4 GPA while balancing varsity football and track, demonstrating the discipline, maturity, and leadership coaches value in long-term program fits. With continued development in refining his technique and adding functional strength, he projects as an FCS starter with the potential to develop into a FBS/Group of 5 contributor.
