During his sophomore year, Wise continued his development while competing in one of the most competitive conferences in the country. He started at cornerback for multiple games and remained a consistent contributor in the defensive back rotation, requiring him to stay prepared and mentally engaged whenever his number was called.
Wise recorded one interception along with several pass breakups, but his primary focus remained on growth and consistency. Throughout the season, he worked to refine his technique, improve his coverage ability, and deepen his understanding of the game, all with the goal of becoming a more complete and dependable defensive back.
During his junior year, Wise played a key role in helping his team reach the semifinals and earn a No. 2 ranking in the state of New Jersey. He focused on elevating his physicality while contributing at both safety and nickel, becoming a dependable presence in the middle of the field and a consistent tackler on defense.
By raising his overall level of play, confidence, and impact, Wise emerged as a reliable and physical defensive back capable of handling multiple roles. His performance and continued development led to increased recognition at the next level, resulting in three Division I offers and reinforcing the progression of his game through sustained hard work and commitment.
