URA EVALUATION
Gaddiel Agosto is a quick-twitch slot receiver with burst, agility, and developing playmaking value in space. Though undersized, he compensates with suddenness, acceleration, and the ability to separate early in routes. He shows encouraging short-area quickness and change-of-direction ability, which allows him to be effective underneath and in the open field.
Agosto’s game projects best in the slot, where his speed and shiftiness can create matchup issues against linebackers and bigger defensive backs. He demonstrates the ability to get in and out of breaks efficiently, uncover quickly, and turn short catches into positive gains. His hands and concentration give him reliability as a target, and he shows comfort working in traffic despite his frame.
As a smaller receiver, continued physical development will be key. Adding strength, improving durability, and maximizing top-end speed will be important to his long-term ceiling. His route discipline, explosiveness, and willingness to continue developing his football IQ will help determine how far he can elevate as a prospect.
His freshman season set the foundation for the player he is becoming. Competing at the JV level, he made an immediate impact, rushing for 921 yards and 13 total touchdowns in just 7 games. He also contributed defensively, recording 2 interceptions and 5 solo tackles despite limited reps on that side of the ball.
His production and consistency earned him a call-up to varsity, where he took on a key role as both a punt and kick returner. He proved to be reliable in high-pressure situations, not recording a single drop on punts or kickoffs throughout the season. Offensively, he added 2 receptions and finished with 150 total yards at the varsity level.
Playing with speed, explosiveness, and confidence, he consistently makes an impact whenever he touches the field. His freshman year was just the beginning, as he continues to focus on getting stronger, faster, and developing into a complete player capable of performing at the next level.
During Gaddiel’s freshman year he displayed near perfect GPA of 3.9.
