URA EVALUATION
He began his football journey with the Chamberlayne Packers at just five years old, starting in flag football. From an early age, he stood out as one of the fastest runners in the Metro area throughout his elementary school years. He transitioned to tackle football the following year and remained with the program through age 13, where he built a strong foundation in the fundamentals of the game, including blocking, tackling, and catching. During this time, he began to show clear signs of his athletic ability, combining speed, toughness, and a growing passion for football.
He continued his development at Bell Creek Middle School, where he played two seasons at both running back and middle linebacker. His experience there helped him refine his skills, build confidence, and further establish himself as a versatile and impactful player on the field.
As a freshman, Ball played running back and middle linebacker at the junior varsity level, earning a starting role and making an immediate impact. Offensively, he was a physical runner who consistently finished runs by powering through defenders and served as a reliable option in key situations, especially when the team needed crucial first downs. He also contributed in pass protection, effectively blocking defenders and helping sustain drives, while adding value as a touchdown producer.
Midway through the season, his performance earned him the opportunity to dress for varsity games, gaining valuable exposure to the speed and intensity of the next level, even though he did not see game action.
During his sophomore year he began the season as the second-string running back but quickly worked his way into the starting role by midseason. Once given the opportunity, he delivered multiple breakout performances, showcasing his ability to make an impact as a primary ball carrier. His production and consistency helped solidify his role as the team’s go-to back.
While official statistics are not available, his performance is backed by game film, with highlights featured on his Hudl that demonstrate his playmaking ability, vision, and physical running style.
For his junior season he put together a highly productive 1300+ rushing yard campaign on 221 carries while scoring 15 touchdowns. His performance earned him All-Metro Richmond Times-Dispatch Honorable Mention honors, as well as recognition as an 804 Varsity Player of the Week by the Richmond Times-Dispatch. He was also named Team MVP and received a nomination for Sports Illustrated High School Athlete of the Week, highlighting his impact on the field.
Throughout the season, he showed clear growth—not only in production but in strength, discipline, and overall mindset. His development has been fueled by a relentless drive to improve and a commitment to becoming a dominant force on the field.
Currently he attends CodeRVA Regional High School, despite playing football for Mechanicsville HS. At CodeRVA Ball is on track to graduate with an Advanced High School Diploma along with an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science. He consistently maintains A/B Honor Roll status, demonstrating strong commitment in the classroom.
In addition to his academic performance, he has earned multiple character awards throughout his time at CodeRVA. Notably, at the end of his sophomore year, he was recognized for receiving the most character awards in his class, highlighting his leadership, integrity, and positive impact within the school community.
