Robert Malcolm Lathem is a Class of 2032 quarterback from Canton, Georgia, developing as a dual-threat playmaker. He can operate within the offense or extend plays with his athleticism, creating opportunities as both a passer and runner.
Lathem has gained exposure beyond local competition. His public profile identifies him as QB Hit List’s No. 1 quarterback in the Class of 2032 and notes participation or invitations to events including the Georgia Elite Classic and Middle School National Combine.
Lathem is also a multi-sport athlete. Perfect Game lists him as a Class of 2032 baseball player who has competed at shortstop, second base, outfield and pitcher.

Developing pre-snap recognition, coverage identification and progression speed will also be important as competition increases. His multi-sport background adds to his overall athletic profile and provides additional opportunities to develop coordination, movement and competitive instincts.

Malcolm’s early football career has already included several notable accomplishments. During his sixth-grade season, he helped his team capture the GMSAA State Championship and was selected to compete with an FBU team. He also earned an invitation to play in the Georgia Five Star Game in Gwinnett.
Entering his seventh-grade season, Malcolm has continued to earn recognition for his play at quarterback. He was selected to participate in the Rusty Mansell Georgia Elite Classic and received another invitation to return to the Georgia Five Star Game.
These opportunities have allowed Malcolm to compete alongside and against talented players from across Georgia while continuing to develop his game in competitive environments.
