Walnut Grove’s Julian Sease Joins Under-Recruited Athlete With His Next Chapter in Focus

LOGANVILLE, Georgia. — In the cutthroat world of Georgia high school football recruiting, college personnel directors are constantly hunting for three core traits: explosive track-verified speed, positional versatility, and academic elite status. Enter Julian Sease. Julian Sease has been building toward his next opportunity since he first stepped onto a varsity football field as a freshman.
Now, the Walnut Grove High School athlete is taking another step in that journey, joining Under Recruited Athlete as a subscribed athlete. The partnership provides a platform to share his development, accomplishments, and recruiting story as he works toward playing college football. Listed at 6-foot, 187 pounds, Sease is a Class of 2027 prospect whose profile includes safety, running back, and athlete. His résumé reaches beyond football: he carries a 3.96 GPA, reports a 21-foot, 2-inch long jump, and was a member of a 2026 state bronze-medal-winning 4×100-meter relay team. He also has an FCS offer, giving his pursuit of college football a meaningful starting point.
Together, those accomplishments give coaches several reasons to learn more about the Walnut Grove prospect.
Earning His Place Early
Sease’s football foundation began at Youth Middle School. In 2022, he earned U.S. Army All-American recognition, an early milestone before his transition to high school competition. He also received the Warrior Award, the team’s highest honor. Selected by coaches, the award recognizes leadership in the classroom, on the field, and in the community. That emphasis on leadership continued when Sease entered Walnut Grove in 2023.
Wearing number 22, he appeared on the varsity roster as an athlete and defensive back. He played in nine games as a freshman, gaining experience against older players while learning the demands of varsity football. His opportunities produced tangible contributions. Against East Forsyth, Sease recorded 10 tackles, including eight solo stops. He added four tackles against Cedar Shoals and contributed two tackles and a fumble recovery in Walnut Grove’s 25–8 victory over Chestatee.
For a freshman, those performances represented an encouraging beginning. He was earning opportunities to participate and contributing to the defense. His head coach also presented him with the Young Gun Award, recognizing freshman players who demonstrate leadership and grit on and off the field.
Building Through Experience
Sease returned to Walnut Grove as a sophomore, again wearing number 22. His second season provided another opportunity to build on his early experience and continue developing as a defensive back. One documented performance included six tackles against East Forsyth, five of them solo. That progression matters to his story. His development has included multiple seasons of varsity exposure, with opportunities to learn, contribute, and prepare for greater responsibility.
As his recruitment continues, the next task is to show college programs how that experience translates into the role they need filled.
A Résumé That Extends Beyond Football
Sease’s track accomplishments add another dimension to his recruiting profile. His reported 21-foot, 2-inch long jump provides a measurable athletic benchmark, while his place on a state bronze-medal 4×100 relay team reflects his contribution to a successful sprint group. Those results complement his football résumé. Coaches can examine the track marks alongside his game film to assess how his athletic ability translates to the field.
His 3.96 GPA deserves equal visibility. It adds academic achievement to a profile that already includes varsity participation, leadership recognition, and multi-sport competition.
The Next Chapter With URA
Sease enters the URA platform with an 88 overall URA evaluation and a three-star designation under URA’s internal scale. His current recruiting profile includes an FCS offer, with continued development and evaluation shaping the opportunities ahead. Through his subscription, URA will help present his story and provide a central destination for his athlete information, accomplishments, and highlights.
For Sease, the objective is to keep building: strengthen his game, maintain his academic performance, and give college coaches a clear picture of what he can contribute.
