His strong play earned him recognition as one of the top upcoming quarterbacks in Harford County, setting the stage for his transition to the varsity level.
In his sophomore year, Brian Guerrero transferred to Edgewood High School, where he split time between the JV and varsity teams while continuing to play quarterback. Guerrero had a breakout season on JV, leading his squad to an undefeated record and earning recognition as the top JV quarterback in Harford County. Though his varsity reps were limited, he made the most of his opportunities, showing growth, confidence, and leadership. His sophomore campaign firmly established him as one of the county’s most promising young quarterbacks.
