Alexavier “Mayhem” McDonald is an explosive two-sport athlete out of Alexander High School in Douglasville, Georgia, by way of Florida. Known for his relentless motor and field awareness, Alexavier earned 5A Region Honorable Mention honors on defense last season. A nickname like “Mayhem” wasn’t given—it was earned. Whether crashing through blockers or closing gaps in pursuit, he brings controlled chaos to every snap.
Standing out for more than just athleticism, Alexavier maintains a 3.6 GPA while taking AP and Honors courses, showing the same discipline in the classroom that he brings to the field. A member of Beta Club and FBLA, he’s focused on his long-term goal of studying Cybersecurity while continuing to dominate on the gridiron.
Off the field, he’s a competitor through and through—running track, playing basketball, and sharpening his instincts through gaming. Quiet but confident, Alexavier lets his play do the talking. Coaches describe him as “coachable, smart, and built for big moments.” His blend of power, speed, and intelligence makes him a next-level talent with the mindset of a professional.

Alexavier “Mayhem” McDonald is a long, athletic edge defender with a frame that college coaches dream of developing. At 6’4”, 210 pounds as a sophomore, he already possesses the build of an FBS outside linebacker or defensive end, garnering several FBS offers. His length, pursuit speed, and effort level jump off the tape. He plays with controlled aggression and finishes plays with physicality.
McDonald shows strong instincts for reading blocks and finding the football. His first step is disruptive off the edge, closing quickly on quarterbacks and ball carriers. His long stride and burst allow him to cover ground fast — traits that translate to both defensive schemes and special teams. As a freshman, the 6’2″, 190-pound McDonald saw action on varsity across the offensive line, defensive line, and special teams, earning a starting role by season’s end. He capped off his debut season with 33 tackles, five quarterback hurries, three sacks, and an interception.
As a sophomore, he made significant strides at defensive end, earning honorable mention honors for his defensive performance. He finished the season with 40 tackles, three quarterback hurries, and one sack.
Entering his junior year, McDonald holds multiple FBS offers and is determined to earn more after an impressive summer camp circuit. As a member of Elite Talent Football, he’s shown growth in every area of his game — becoming stronger, faster, and more explosive. His top Catapult-recorded speed reached 21 mph, and he boasts an 80-inch wingspan that adds to his on-field dominance. Currently attending Alexander High School, McDonald maintains an impressive 3.6 GPA, earning him A/B Honors every year of his high school years.
