Owns a solid frame with adequate length and the ability to carry additional weight without sacrificing movement skills. Plays with good body control and shows comfort operating both in space and closer to the line of scrimmage.

 

Displays strong play recognition. Reads route combinations efficiently from depth and shows awareness in zone coverage, consistently positioning himself to contest throws. Breaks on the football with timing rather than guessing, allowing him to stay under control and limit separation. Shows natural ball skills and the ability to finish when opportunities present themselves.

 

As a run defender, Wise is a reliable tackler who takes sound pursuit angles and shows willingness to play downhill. Physical at the point of attack and does not shy away from contact. Flashes ability to defeat blocks from receivers and tight ends, though continued strength development will help him handle college-level size.
