C/O 26 Johnathan Moses - Manchester HS, Atlanta, Georgia

BIOGRAPHY

As the nephew of the late Quentin Moses—a University of Georgia football legend and former Miami Dolphins defensive standout—Jonathan Moses has long understood the weight and honor of legacy. Now, the rising senior from New Manchester High School in Douglasville, Georgia, is writing his own story—grounded in excellence, discipline, and a relentless drive to lead both on and off the field.

A standout varsity linebacker, Moses was named to the 2024 GHSA 5A All-Region Team, recognition earned through his physical presence, deep understanding of the game, and relentless work ethic. Known as a tone-setter on defense, he dedicates hours to refining his technique, mastering film study, and elevating his strength in the weight room. His coaches describe him as a “coach-on-the-field”—a player who leads by example, competes with edge, and remains humble and highly coachable.

But Moses’s commitment extends far beyond the gridiron. A 3.4 GPA student, he is actively involved in the National Beta Club and the AVID Program, both of which fuel his passion for academic excellence and personal growth. Through these programs, he has sharpened his time management and organizational skills while juggling a demanding honors course load alongside a varsity athletic schedule.

Off the field, Jonathan reveals another layer of his identity: a self-taught visual artist. His passion for art reflects a mind that is both creative and analytical—qualities that serve him well when breaking down film or designing intricate sketches. “Art helps me see the game differently,” he says. “It trains me to observe, anticipate, and think beyond the obvious.”

Looking ahead, Moses plans to pursue a degree in Architectural Engineering or Sports Medicine, seeking a college program that challenges him academically while developing him as a student-athlete. He brings to the table not only a legacy worth honoring, but also the character, talent, and leadership to be a force in his own right.

With strong bloodlines, a powerful resume, and a versatile mind, Jonathan Moses is a name that deserves serious attention from the next level.

Displays above-average lateral quickness and closing speed, allowing him to cover ground quickly and finish plays in the flat or between the hashes. Has the athleticism to roll down as an overhang defender or walk up as a strong safety in nickel packages. He diagnoses plays quickly and closes with urgency. Strong wrap-up tackler who maintains pad level and rarely whiffs in open space. Has shown flashes of coverage ability in zone schemes with decent route anticipation and a high football IQ.
