Arcadia High School, Los Angeles – The 2026 Arcadia Invitational once again proved why it sits at the top of high school track and field. Year after year, the meet attracts elite talent from across the country, but this time, the performances didn’t just impress… they reset expectations. From the opening events on Friday to the high-energy finale under the lights Saturday night, Arcadia delivered a weekend filled with national leaders, historic marks, and breakout performances that will shape the rest of the season.

Friday: Fast Times and Early Statements

The tone was set early, and it didn’t take long for history to enter the conversation. Servite’s sprint squad wasted no time making noise, clocking a 1:22.76 in the 4×200-meter relay, placing them among the fastest teams ever recorded in U.S. history. The mark not only improved their previous meet record but also firmly positioned them in elite territory nationally.

Across the country, Union Catholic arrived with purpose and delivered. Powered by a strong anchor from Ciaran Brosnan, the team ran 7:32.78 in the 4×800 relay, setting a new meet record and one of the fastest times in the nation this year. Meanwhile, Loyola High School, Los Angeles, added to the momentum with a blistering 1:28.85 in the sprint medley relay, placing them among the top all-time performers in the event. By the end of Friday, it was clear—this wasn’t going to be a typical Arcadia meet.

Saturday Night: The Spotlight Gets Brighter

If Friday was impressive, Saturday night was unforgettable. Rosary Academy took control of the sprint relays, delivering a 1:34.29 in the 4×200 before returning to win the 4×100 in 44.32. Both performances ranked among the fastest times nationally and showcased their dominance on the track. On the boys’ side, Servite doubled down, running a 39.70 in the 4×100, continuing their push as one of the fastest programs in the country.

Then came Bullis School, led by standout sprinter Quincy Wilson. Their 3:09.14 in the 4×400 relay wasn’t just a win—it was a statement. Winning by a wide margin, Bullis showed why they are considered one of the top relay squads in the nation.

Field Events Bring the Power

The track wasn’t the only place records were threatened. In the discus, Simon Rosselli delivered one of the biggest throws of the weekend, launching a mark over 225 feet—placing him among the best in U.S. history. He was joined by other standout performers, including James Conrad and Matthew Bryant, both of whom recorded throws that pushed them into the national top rankings.

In the shot put, Case Jacobson secured the win with a throw exceeding 65 feet, further establishing himself among the nation’s elite. On the girls’ side, Jaslene Massey dominated, setting a meet record in the shot put and following it up with one of the top discus throws in meet history. One of the most impressive performances came from Ethan Sam Fong, who climbed from lower-seeded flights all the way into the invitational competition, setting multiple personal bests along the way—a true breakout moment.
