Kash Carter emerged as a standout quarterback by earning the starting QB1 role as a freshman, quickly making his mark by leading the state of Maryland in passing yards and completion percentage that season. Now in his sophomore year, Kash continues to impress with his exceptional talent, leadership, and composure under pressure. His ability to deliver accurate throws and make smart decisions in critical moments has been instrumental in guiding his team to an undefeated 10-0 season.

Kash Carter is a traditional pocket passer who excels in a pro-style offense, known for making sharp reads and consistently delivering on-time, accurate throws. Since earning the starting quarterback role as a freshman, he has thrown for over 2,000 yards each season, showcasing impressive consistency and production. His ability to attack all levels of the field with precision sets him apart from his peers. Carter possesses a quick release and alters his throwing angles well, allowing him to beat pressure without relying completely on his mobility. At Rock Creek Academy, Kash Carter had an outstanding freshman season (2023–24). As a member of the Class of 2027, Carter demonstrated exceptional poise and talent, quickly establishing himself as one of the top young quarterbacks in the state.
In his freshman year, Carter amassed 2,291 passing yards, averaging 254.6 yards per game, and threw 23 touchdowns and 12 interceptions over nine games. He completed 169 of 262 pass attempts, achieving a 64.5% completion rate and a quarterback rating of 102.4.
His performance ranked him 7th in Maryland for passing yards and 1st among freelance conference quarterbacks. Notably, Carter had standout games, including a 394-yard, 4-touchdown performance against Friendship Collegiate Academy and a 291-yard, 6-touchdown game versus National Christian Academy.
Carter’s impressive freshman season has garnered attention from college programs, earning him an offer from Delaware State University. His combination of size, arm strength, and football IQ positions him as a promising prospect in the Class of 2027
After a standout freshman year at Rock Creek Christian, Carter transferred to Riverdale Baptist for his sophomore season and elevated his game. In the 2024–25 season, he threw for 2,246 yards and 17 touchdowns while completing 65.5% of his passes with only 4 interceptions—demonstrating growth in decision-making and efficiency. He added two rushing touchdowns on the ground and maintained a QB rating of 131.8. Academically, Carter excels in the classroom as well, holding a 3.88 GPA.
Carter’s sophomore season performance ranked him 6th in Maryland for passing yards. His ability to lead on and off the field, combined with strong arm talent and poise, makes him a rising name to watch in Maryland and beyond.
During the summer Kash Carter made the announcement that he would be attending The St James Academy in Springdale, Virginia. The DMV has been buzzing about the talent the newly established prep program has been amassing under the leadership of Darryl Overton.
