As the 2023-24 Season begins, we acknowledge Senior Jahmari Powell Wonson from Baltimore City High School, ranked 27th-best athlete in Maryland. Powell Wonson has chosen to stay local and has committed to the University of Maryland, where he will be part of the highly talented class of 2024 athletes. Powell Wonson has expressed his unwavering commitment to Maryland, aiming to have a remarkable season.
Powell Wonson, a standout athlete in the Baltimore area, has consistently impacted the field with his versatility, agility, and game-changing plays. As one of the nation’s top 2024 prospects at his position, Powell Wonson’s skills were highly anticipated going into his junior year at Baltimore City High School. However, his performance exceeded all expectations, as he caught an impressive 32 passes for 1,100 yards and 13 touchdowns. With an average of 34.37 yards per catch, Powell Wonson’s numbers are truly remarkable.
